Senske is a regional lawn, tree and pest control company servicing customers in Utah, Idaho, and Washington. Our success has been, and always will be built on people, quality employees, fast and friendly customer service, and the goal of building a long-lasting and trustworthy relationship with our customers and employees.

1940s: From Humble Beginnings

In 1947, following World War II, Bill Senske started a small lawn care and pest control company in Spokane, Wash. It was probably the first modern-style lawn care business in the nation. Bill’s wife, Liz, served as the entire office staff. This allowed Bill to focus on ridding the city of more than 10,000 rats. Thanks to Bill, Spokane was designated a rat-free city in 1952. This established his reputation as the region’s top pest control and lawn care expert.

1960s: Quality Equals Success

In the ’60s, Chemical Weed and Pest Control (Senske’s former name) began to grow.

As the business grew, Bill dipped into the family for help with labor; sons Bill Jr., Mike, and Chris, and daughters Carol, and Sue joined the team.

With that crew on board, Bill had a formidable workforce. New employees were hired into this family atmosphere as the expansion continued.

1980s: Chris Senske Takes Over the Company

After four decades of building Senske’s reputation as a quality service provider, Bill handed the reins to his youngest son, Chris.

Chris accepted the challenge of expanding service to the Yakima and Kennewick areas to provide better service to Eastern Washington.

Using the work ethic and wisdom passed on by his father, the Senske team was — and still is — built on customer relationships and superior customer satisfaction.

Today: The Journey Continues

In 2002, Senske completed construction of its state-of-the-art headquarters in Kennewick. This facility serves as the resource center for all our local branch offices.Senske’s family oriented commitment to quality and service extends to service centers in Spokane, Yakima, Kennewick, Seattle, and Tacoma Wash.; Boise, Idaho Falls, and Coeur D’Alene, Idaho; Salt Lake City, Ogden, Logan, and Provo, Utah.

Each branch is staffed with top experts in lawn care, tree care, pest control and weed control to provide the best service possible. Senske also offers holiday lights service for commercial and residential customers.
