**What is it?**

Hantavirus is a life-threatening disease that is similar to influenza.

**What causes it?**

The disease is carried and spread through rodent’s feces and urine. The disease is spread when it goes airborne through dust and particles.

** What are some Safety Precautions?**

Avoid exposure to urine and feces if at all possible. Keep your home clean, and if necessary, use a mask, gloves, and a wet disinfectant to clean up any messes.

**What are some preventions that I can practice?**

It is best to hire a professional pest control company to take care of any rodent problems. Always avoid rodents dens and keep your home clean of infestations.

**What are some symptoms of Hantavirus?**

Fevers, chills, muscle aches, dry cough, ill feeling, headache, nausea, & shortness of breath.
